Gregory G. “Greg” Hall: Born in Gilliam Louisiana located in the Red River bottoms of Northwest Louisiana and graduated from LA Tech University in 1974 with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. He is an avid hunter, outdoorsman and reloader and has hunted every year since 1972 in his favorite “Deer” state, Texas.
His hunting adventures include the Red River bottoms of North Louisiana to the plains of Africa, the dove fields of Argentina as well as many of the lower 48 states. He now resides in Bossier Parish LA, with his wife Becky and enjoys spending time with family and friends at their Double G Ranch in Val Verde County, Texas
Sid McCullin: Born 10/13/52. Benton, LA. I hunted small game and quail until I was about 12. Hunting whitetail deer with a firearm was my favorite until I took my first buck with a bow in 1976. Learned more about deer behavior in one year of bow hunting than the previous 10 gun hunting. Turkey hunting became a passion in the early 80's and my hunting buddy of 43 years, Lynn Beaty, and I took the grand slam of turkeys with a bow in one season.
I started hunting with a longbow as I got older because of the added challenge but I have nothing against any form of hunting or fishing as long as it's legal. Getting more people involved in and passing on our sport is something I really believe in. Pass on the "old school" way!
Lynn Beaty: I am 62 years old and have lived in Haughton, LA all of my life. For the past 37 years I have been in the logging business. I got my first B.B gun at Christmas in 1959 at age 7 and I’ve been in the woods ever since. Being there when a kid kills his first deer is always exciting to me, no matter how big it is
One of my most memorable experiences was in 2007 when Sid “Goat” McCullin and I both killed turkey Grand Slams, with bows, on video. Most of our hunting is done in South Central Kansas for deer and turkey with bows- both longbow and compound.
Dennis Branton: Graduated from LSU with a degree in Wildlife Management, in 1977. When he was ten years old, two of his uncles brought him deer hunting and his passion for deer hunting was ignited. In 1970, Dennis’s next door neighbor introduced him to duck hunting.
Dennis has hunted elk hunting in Wyoming and New Mexico, waterfowl in Canada, plains game in Africa and fishing in the Cayman Islands.
Max “Sharptime” Sharp: Born in Magnolia Arkansas and grew up in Blanchard La. He is an avid waterfowler and hunts from Canada to Louisiana. Max is a member and president of Palmyra Hunting Club on Davis Island.
Max enjoys hunting, fishing offshore, general aviation, sporting clays and anything else that has an element of adventure. He has three children Levi, Tanner, and Emily. Max currently resides in Bossier Parish LA.
