At 19 years old, Hunter is the fearless leader of Team Sparta. And contrary to most assumptions, Daddy didn’t pay for Spartan Outdoors. This show is the result of years of blood, sweat, and good old fashioned hard work. Hunter's journey began when he was 14, with nothing more than a dream and a hand held camcorder. Him and his buddies filmed every hunt they went on for a year, then edited together a hunting DVD, high-school project level at best. But despite it’s homely quality, the fellas sold thousands of copies! This small victory pushed Hunter to take Spartan Outdoors a step further. Nothing is impossible through Christ who gives you strength!
Raised in Central Arkansas, Travis developed many passions at a young age. When he wasn’t acting out in class, he was playing every sport, growing in the performing arts, and of course, the spending time in the outdoors. While most people specialize on one or two disciplines, Travis has always been a jack of all trades.
He enrolled in a high school broadcasting class, graduated from film school at the University of Central Arkansas, studied Directing at The University of Southern California’s School of the Cinematic Arts, and has written, directed, shot, produced, and edited several award winning short films.
As the only member of the Spartan Outdoors production team, Travis doesn’t sleep much.
Chase’s dad took Chase out to the woods when he was 5 years old. One year later, he harvested his very first buck. He’s been striking fear in the hearts of the whitetail population ever since. Chase has had the blessing of harvesting many trophy bucks over the years. He loves everything about the diligence and hard work that goes into managing a herd and patterning big bucks.
At 25 years old, Chase's best memories of the outdoors are sittin’ in a duck blind with buddies, seeing someone take their first deer, or introducing someone to turkey hunting.
Like the rest of the team, Tyler was introduced to the outdoors at a very young age. His dad took him to sit in the tree stand before he was old enough to even shoulder a rifle.
Once Tyler began college, he filled his free time with hunting and was lucky to capture some great kills on camera. His success garnered the attention of a small company that broadcasted the footage online. This endeavor led him to eventually meet Hunter Harris, CEO of Spartan Outdoors, at a trade show event in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. After hearing the mission of the show and the vision for Spartan Outdoors, Tyler was sold. He joined the team with his buddy Chase Harris, and the rest is history.
Don’t let the difficulty of his last name’s pronunciation scare you off. Kyle’s a pretty cool dude. As a native Arkansan, he was a natural born hunter. His father took him and his older brother hunting for practically every kind of wild game the Natural State had to offer.
Kyle’s growing love for the outdoors made him realize, even as a child, that you should always try new things at least once. You never know when something will ignite a passion within you. So the mission of Spartan Outdoors to get more young people involved in the outdoors is one that Kyle has always taken to heart.
