Winner Announced Tonight on Battle of the Bow Season Finale
03/23/2010

Fans have chosen one of 10 teams to win a prize package valued at more than $3,500 and the title of Battle of the Bow Champions

New Berlin, Wis. March 23, 2010 — Sportsman Channel’s innovative new series, “Battle of the Bow” will announce the winning team during the season’s final episode, airing tonight at 8:30 PM (EST). The reality television series followed 10 two-person bowhunting teams as they experienced the highs and lows of a typical Wisconsin whitetail season.

Viewers cast their vote each week for their favorite team through a mix of online and text message voting reminiscent of shows like “American Idol.” Through this process, one winner was chosen to take home the prize package valued at more than $3,500. Prizes include a product package from C’Mere Deer, NeverGuess Rangefinders, and a guided hunt provided by Heavy Horn Outfitters of Wisconsin.

The selected teams showcase a diverse range of partners – mother and son, father and daughter, brothers, best friends – who face the challenge of both hunting and documenting the hunt for television. These teams are not pro-staffers, they have no major sponsors, and like most hunters, have little time off. They are simply dedicated bowhunters who find time to hit the fields by their homes after the 40-hour work week.
