A Hunter’s Life Presents the “Best Of Show” on Sportsman Channel
Larry Weishuhn brings viewers Top Notch, World-Wide Hunting Action
New Berlin, WI – (September 28, 2012) If you have a passion for hunting whitetail, brown bear, antelope and more, then this episode is destination TV for you! Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman, is proud to bring viewers the VERY best of A Hunter’s Life.
Larry Weishuhn, also known as Mr. Whitetail, takes audiences on many of his best hunts over the past two years; including a memorable brown bear hunt in Alaska and an African safari that will leave viewers in sheer amazement. Do not miss an explosive half-hour of great memories on A Hunter’s Life – Saturday, September 29 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.
The hunting action begins fast and furious in Missouri as Weishuhn stalks a massive whitetail in the thick brush with pistol in hand. After finding the right spot, he connects on a beautiful and “HUGE” typical buck. From Missouri, it’s on to Alaska for a once in-a-lifetime brown bear hunt. After seven days of scouting, Weishuhn and his guide spot an unforgettable bear that requires two hunters to harvest. When it’s all said and done, the bear is squared at 10 feet, 5 inches and a skull of 28 inches – Boone and Crockett’s all-time record book.
“All of my hunting experiences over the last few years have been rewarding on many levels,” said Larry Weishuhn, host of A Hunter’s Life. “I have to say, the Alaskan brown bear is the finest game animal I’ve ever taken. I still marvel at the size of that bear. I would like to send a special piece of gratitude to all of the people involved with the show. Without my production crew, outfitters, sponsors and more, this production would not be possible. I would also like to thank Sportsman Channel and their continued dedication to the outdoor industry.”
