Legendary pro angler Shaw Grigsby takes you with him every week to action-packed fishing in fresh water and salt.
On Monday, Tuesday and Friday's Episode:
On a summertime trip to Georgia’s Lake Lanier, Shaw relies on a one-two punch for the spotted bass these scenic waters produce so abundantly.
First, with a topwater, he foils schooling spots feeding on the surface, and later when action subsides he switches quickly to a drop-shot rig to pry fish from the bottom and mid-depths.
His sonar unit plays a big part in finding and fooling these deeper fish, and he shows how to make maximum use of this visual aid.
On Saturday and Sunday's Episode:
Louie lives near the lake and leads Shaw to some of his favorite cover for big largemouths. There’s also a side excursion aboard one of Florida’s electrofishing boats, where they get an eye-opening introduction, in the hand, to the hordes of bass that lurk in the spots they’ve just fished.
