Steve Hornady

Steve Hornady is the President of Hornady Manufacturing, located in Grand Island, Nebraska.

A lifelong shooter and avid hunter, Steve has traveled to and hunted all the continents with the exception of Antarctica. Steve has hunted extensively in Africa, but his true love is the quest for the world’s mountain game, including over twenty species of the world’s sheep, goat, and ibex species that are in his collection.

His leadership role in the shooting, hunting, and manufacturing industry has resulted in numerous awards including, but not limited to, The 2013 Sportsman Channel Sportsman Of The Year, The SHOT Businessman Of The Year, The NRA Pioneer Award, and the The Shooting Industry Academy Of Excellence Award. Steve currently serves on the board of the National Rifle Association, and the National Shooting Sports Foundation, and is a past chairman and current board member of The Sporting Arms And Ammunition Institute.
