The Trembling Giant

Throughout the years, hunting has been portrayed as an action sport, a blood game, one heart pounding moment of exhilaration after another – however, a seasoned hunter knows that it’s more about the moments in-between, a way to escape the modern world, to feel alive in nature and to spend quality time with family and friends.

The Trembling Giant presented by Danner Boots is a feature-length documentary film that captures an honest look at why people hunt and explores the everyday beauty of life at elk camp in the rugged Colorado wilderness at 10,000 feet in the Rocky Mountains.

Follow three groups of bow hunters who share a passion spending their days sleeping in tents and hiking for miles in hopes of calling in a mature bull.
