Illinois native Stan Potts has hunted for over 40 years, harvesting numerous whitetail, 4 of which are 200-class bucks.
He has given hunting seminars all across North America and been the subject of many feature magazine articles, having been documented in the pages of North American Whitetail, Bowhunter, Illinois Game and Fish as well as several other media sources.
Stan hunts 100% wild whitetails on public and private property and is well known for his expertise in tree stand placement and patterning big mature bucks. When not in pursuit of whitetails Stan loves hunting elk, moose, grizzlies, mule deer, antelope and turkeys.
Mark was born and raised in central IL where his love for land and deer hunting merged. Mark has spent almost 2 decades buying and selling recreational farms for his clients. He has been filming his hunts for almost a decade with his good friend and co-host Stan Potts. Mark has a vast knowledge of land, soil types, and preferred deer food and habitat. His experience makes him invaluable to the Whitetail Explorer team.
Don Jr. grew up hunting whitetails on public land with his father and brothers in southern Illinois. His hard work at home in real estate allowed him the lifetime dream of buying his first tract of land in Schuyler County, IL. Over the past 20 years since he has been able to add properties in Iowa, Missouri, Kansas and New Mexico. Being able to hunt mature bucks in quality management areas has given him the knowledge to become more successful and take numerous record book whitetails. What he enjoys most is buying properties, developing them, and then spending time there with family and friends. In addition to being a part of the Whitetail Explorer team, Don has also filmed for the Hunter’s Specialties Prime Time series.
