Meet The Host
Mike Hanback
Mike was born and raised in Virginia and started hunting with his dad when he was 6 years old. He graduated with honors in English from Carson-Newman University in Tennessee.
Mike’s first outdoor job was with the NRA’s American Hunter magazine. He worked there for 10 years, during which time he hunted all over North America and wrote about it.
Mike has shot 15 species of big game–all the deer, elk, bears, wild sheep, caribou and even one wolf. But his passion has always been BIG DEER, especially whitetails. He hunts for bucks in 8 to 10 states and a couple of Canadian provinces each year.
